Adem Coşkun

He was born in 1986 in Mardin/Midyat where he completed his primary and secondary education in Midyat. Between 1997-2005, he stayed at the Tur ‘Abdin Metropolitan Center and studied Syriac language and Syriac Church Liturgy. He completed his undergraduate education in Business Administration at Anadolu University in Eskisehir. He received his master’s degree from the Syriac Language and Culture Department at Mardin Artuklu University with the thesis titled Memoirs of the Bishop of Istanbul Timateos Paul. In 2016, he did an internship at the Department of Syriac Studies at the University of London SOAS. Since 2019, he has been giving Syriac language trainings at the Distance Education, Practice and Research Center of Mardin Artuklu University. He provides academic consultancy in the field of Syriac language, carries out Syriac translation activities and prepares Syriac Church liturgy training programs.
